Our interactive Rhythm Kids® classes tap into how big kids are wired to learn. Musical games, rhythm pattern play, drumming, and more engage their creativity—and inspire them to explore their musicality in new ways. The music and movement activities that are part of each Rhythm Kids® class naturally support several key developmental areas, including executive function, emerging math skills, and leadership. By the end of the semester, your Rhythm Kid will be proud to show off all the new skills they've mastered!
Each week we drum, sing, dance, play rhythm instruments, and play music-based games that reinforce—in a fun, playful manner—the rhythm patterns that we learn in class. Ms. Graces guides children in developmentally-appropriate music and movement activities, where they can begin to take charge, lead others, and be musically creative, as they:

make up their own drumming patterns

invent new ways to play rhythm instruments (e.g., shakers, sticks, etc.)

create movement ideas for songs

practice soloing, ensemble play and conducting
Rhythm Kids® carries on the Music Together® vision to help children complete the pathway of early childhood music development. Classes include:

Explore the world of rhythm through movement, instrument play, and song

We currently offer Rhythm Kids® 1:
- Rhythm Kids® 1: Designed for children ages 5-8. No prior musical experience required. Parents and caregivers are encouraged, though not required, to attend class with their child. Parents who choose to attend are able to experience Rhythm Kids® activities and can support their children's musical development throughout the week.
